I finally got around to taking pictures of Ollie. I put it off because they were gonna have to be indoor pictures and honestly I don't know how to take pictures indoor very well. But I gave it a shot and they turned out pretty stinking cute. I didn't have the best back drop but I don't think that really matters when your focus is the person in the pictures. I posted a bunch and left out a bunch, what can I say he's a cutie.

My whole side of the family met up at my sister's in St George to celebrate New Year's. It was a good time with beautiful weather, which we took advantage of and went on this beautiful hike.

On Christmas Eve we went skiing. No we haven't gotten much snow but thanks to Jonathan Snowbird had just enough and it was like a spring day and it wasn't that busy. I think this will be our new tradition. At night skiers ski down holding torches it was fun to watch and some other Tadje's came up to see it too. Then there were fireworks and Santa came down the mountain on top of the tram and then rappelled off the tram. It was a great evening.

Christmas was a hit. Santa actually came and all the kids got what they wanted.

This is Jonathan's sister's family, aren't they cute. I had fun taking there pictures. I took them at the star mill that is close to my house. They usually charge to take pictures but my mother-in-law knows them and traded candy to let us take pictures there.

This is Jonathan's brother Rich and his girlfriend Camilla. No these are not engagement pictures just boyfriend and girlfriend pictures. They are a HOT couple. If they decide to use these as engagements it won't bother me none.

Yes, Halloween is my favorite holiday, why you ask? because we get to dress up and this year we went all out. No more cutesy costumes for us, except for Ollie he just can't help it. Ollie kept ruining the pictures, we were going for scary and all he could do was cute, so lame. This was the best scary face Ollie could pull off. All the credit for these costumes goes to my mom. I may have did most of the work but she was the designer, she's incredible. Thanks for your help mom.

Not last weekend but the two weekends before that we went up the canyon to see the pretty colors and the first snow fall. The first time me and the kids went with my mom around the loop to Sundance, this is something I have loved doing since I was a kid. The next weekend it snowed and it's kind of a tradition of ours to drive up the canyon to see it. The fresh snow was so pretty next to the beautiful fall colors. So for all of you desert rats here's what your missing.

So I had a baby and took a week to rest then the festivities started. My brother and his family came to town for two weeks and my sister and her family came for a week of that, it was nothing but fun for two weeks.

This girl had a birthday and turned 8.

Oliver Jude Tadje was born June 3, 2011 at 6:45 am. He weighed 7lbs. 8oz. and was 20 1\2 in. long. We are all so happy he is finally here, are family is complete.

Spring Soccer 2011

Soccer was so fun to watch this year. It was Will's first year and he was so excited about it. He Started out strong and was really into it then after a pretty hard collision and discovering the sheen guards and socks were making him itchy, he kind of digressed, but he still had fun and LOVED being goalie. Annika was hilarious to watch, I think it was much more of a social game for her. She loved playing. She was always following the ball but never getting to close to it, half the time I don't think she new where the ball was. But in her last game she got the ball and kicked it all the way down and was so close to getting a goal, this did something to her cause all of a sudden she had the ball again and got a goal and the rest of the game she was right there with the ball and being aggressive. Morgan was so fun to watch this year, she's really good. I swear whenever Morgan was in she had the ball. She got several goals this year.

Every spring at Snowbird they have a dummy downhill compitition where the different departments build a sled and then they launch it off a huge jump and watch it crash. It is quite entertaining and there is free pizza. So this year we took the kids up early and Jonathan took them for a couple of runs and then we watched the show.

Will's birthday was back on April 3rd, he's a big 4 year old now. He wanted a skate board for his birthday he seems kinda small if you ask me but he thinks it's the coolest thing. This is my little Rog, isn't he the sweetist thing. He's getting so big so fast, I wish he would stay this size forever. I guess he isn't mine but he is my nephew and I wish he was mine. He gets me very excited for my little one that should could come in about 3 1/2 months, which is way to long for me. Moses the Miracle

Two days ago Moses should have died. The kids ran out the door excited to go to a friends house, forgetting to shut the front door, so Moses followed. I came out and was calling him to come back in. Our street was unusually busy, there was something going on at the rec. center and there were cars lined up and down the street, there was also a lot more traffic and there were a lot of people out walking to the rec. center. Moses can't resist running up to people across the street. So when I noticed the jogger I tried to command Moses to come in but it's more like he new why looked straight across the street, did his deep bark that he does to try and look scary. At that point I new he was gonna run across and I had no way of stopping him, I looked up the street and there was a car coming, I new it was gonna happen before it happened. He was hit by the car that was going probably 35 miles an hour, who had no chance of slowing cause she couldn't have seen him coming with all the cars parked on the side of the street. He landed or stopped in front of my neighbors drive way to my right that was probably 30 ft away. I screamed the kids all saw it and were screaming and crying, it was terrible. And Moses just layed there not moving peeing all over, breathing really weird and looking like death. I just wanted to end his Misery. A lot of people came to help me, we were trying to figure out what to do when all of sudden Moses jumps up, none of us could believe it. The jogger guy kindly lifted Moses up for me and put him in the Cruiser. I took Moses to the Vet and it didn't look good. The Vet said he needed to do x-rays to see if there was any internal bleeding and he was sure something was wrong with his lungs. The crazy thing was Moses had no broken bones and only had a small cut on one of he's legs. After the x-ray they new there was no internal bleeding but he had holes in his lungs. My options were to hospitalize him for days with a tube put down his throat to his lungs to drain them until they healed, it would have been very expensive, or I could take him home and see if it heals on it's own. He then told me if he makes it threw the night then he'll most likely be fine. I couldn't believe it. I was so sick over thinking we might have to put him down cause I didn't have the money for surgery, I was so relieved yet still so upset cause he could still die. I took him home and it was a ruff night. The whole night was a roller coaster, one minute we would think he sounded pretty good and the next minute he sounded terrible and we thought he would take his last breath any second. Jonathan at one point just wanted to put him out of his Misery because he seemed like he was suffering, it was all very sad and hard to watch. However by morning he seemed so much better, a little more like himself, was breathing better and was moving around better. I truly feel it's a miracle that he is alive and I am so grateful he is, Moses is a part of our family and I couldn't picture it with out him. He's breathing still struggles but it is better, he seems more like himself all the time. I shouldn't say we are out of the woods yet cause something could still go wrong and other things could have show up later on but he seems like he's gonna stick around and I couldn't be happier.

Morgan was a pirate, more like a pirate diva, this girl has so much attitude lately and mood swings like I can't believe. What's happened to my chill little girl, someone hellp me please!!!

Annie was a Cheerleader for school and was very excited to be one, is this what her future holds??? And then she was a Pink Cat for Halloween, I was glad she choose this cause I got to paint her face.
As for Will he was Batman but refused to wear his costume on Halloween, what? So there are no pictures of him.

The boys rolling rocks off a cliff into the water just across from our camp. It was very entertaining to watch, like watching a firework show.

Found this slot canyon almost every body went including kids and dogs.

This is where the slot canyon got really cool. This water was FREEZING!! Some of the adults took turns going through it because it was so awesomly amazing. Morgan was loving the slot canyons and was dying to go through this part so Jonny took her through it on his back.

This last weekend we went to Crested Butte Colorado. We have family there and wanted to go visit and be there for our niece Ananda's birthday party. We had such a good time and got some camping in that we haven't done much of this summer. This place was so beautiful. It was really fun spending time with Jonathan's brother and his wife and daughter, thanks for letting us visit. At the camp site the kids found a snake, Morgan found a tame bee, Moses still thinks he is human even when we are camping, the kids did alot of wrestling inside the tent and out, and then to top it all off we drove over pearl pass where the elevation was 12,700 ft. that's higher than timp and then drove down the otherside into Aspen.

Dad's work isn't just fun in the winter. Every summer we get to go up to Snowbird and play on all the fun stuff they have. This year we took the Alldredges and had a great time, just wish it wasn't so busy, spent a lot of time in lines. My favorite part was the lift ride up to the top and all the wildflowers it was Beautiful.

There is this awesome hike at Alta called Cecret Lake, the hike was totally doable by all the kids and it was beautiful. We saw a huge bull Moose that was way too close to us and then at the lake the kids caught Salamanders (have you ever seen a Salamandor? Carzy looking). Loved this hike, can't wait to go do it in the fall.

Girls Camp

I spent last week at girls camp and had the time of my life, really I had soooo much fun. I got called as camp director, this was a dream come true. Our theme was Superhero's- saving every girl one virtue at a time. We had such a great group of girls and the leaders were awesome, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. We stayed at mutual Dell up American Fork Canyon, it was perfect, they have so much you can do there a zipline, canoeing, a confidence course, we did a hike to Silver Lake, played games, did crafts and more crafts, ate great food and had a lot of spiritual moments. I will never forget this girls camp, I loved girls camp growing up but told the girls, I think it's probably funner to be a leader at girls camp. Can't wait till next year.

Morgan turned SEVEN on the 13th. First I turn 30 now I have a 7 year old, come on. This getting older is not Ok with me. Morgan had a great birthday. She asked for climbing shoes and a harness, we are so proud. So after she had a friend birthday party on Monday, that she loved and had so much fun at, we went climbing up AF canyon. Now I haven't seen many 7 year olds climb but she was amazing!!!

Officially the HIGHEST I've ever been. So my friend Rickie and I decided to do something cool since we turned the big 30 this year. We decided to hike Mount Whitney. Rickie and Jason pretty much set up the whole thing, thanks guys. Are friend Scotty came too, it was so good to see him. The hike was awesome, the weather couldn't have been better. I loved every minute of it with the exception of the snow being to soft on the way down and continuously falling through the snow up to your thighs and also my shoulders screaming at me the last mile cause of my 40 lb pack. There is something so amazing about being so high I can't even describe the feeling but I can't wait for the next one, hehe.

These were taken at Delicate Arch Morgan LOVED this idea of taking the picture so it looked like she was going to squish the personTower Arch, had to take 4 wheel drive road out to this Arch, it was well worth it.The best part of this trip was that the kids had sooo many fun friends to play with.

For Spring Break this year we went to Arches with several families from our ward. It was sooo much fun, the kids loved it, there wasn't a single moment of boredem. I to had a lot of fun. I have really fallen in love with the deseret especially with the red rock, I think it is absolutely beautiful. There was also lots of good company, beautiful hikes and some great camp fire conversations, can't wait to go again next year.

Annika has been asking me to cut her hair for a year now and I've always told her she couldn't but then I got sick off the tangles and the tears and had this vision of her with short hair. So I decided what the heck lets do it and then Morgan wanted hers cut and hers was pretty long (forgot to get before picture of her see earlier post about loosing her tooth). I love cutting hair, it's one of those things I'd like to do but don't tell people, but it's something I'll probably never persue because I don't like forced small talk with people, which you have to do when cutting hair, unless their your own kids.

I picked up my first crochet needle almost two months ago and I have become obsessed with it. I'm constantly thinking about it, I even dream about it (that's a little annoying). I sometimes get frustrated cause I don't feel like a have enough time to do it. These are a few of the hats I've made for the kids, I've made several others.

Bone Cave

Over the weekend we spent the night in a cave up American Fork Canyon, called Bone Cave. It was a lot of work getting ready and cleaning up (we are still washing blankets) just for one night but it was so worth it, our kids had so much fun and did not want to go home. I know your all thinking weren't we freezing, it was cold but we were well prepared, the kids slept great except for a five minute break down from Will in the middle of the night but all I had to do was ask if he wanted to go home and he stopped crying and went back to bed. We had some visitors come up and roast marshmellows with us and hang by the fire, it was a good time.

This is the cave, it's hard to tell but if you look towards the back of the cave there is another smaller room, that is where we slept, it was warmer back there.

Getting Ready

Annika has been really excited about skiing this year and she is improving, not as quickly as I would like but she is. I get a little impatient and frustrated teaching the kids to ski, Jonathan is much better at it then I.

So Moses got castrated in November. Poor dog, poor us, we had to deal with that cone around his head for 2 weeks and it was always in the way. Moses was terrible about coming up behind us and ramming that cone into the backs of our legs. But hopefully now he will calm down a little, it's hard to tell if there is a difference in his behavior because he's inside more now with the cold and snow. It's kind of sad that there won't be any more Moses'

A hike to the G

The other evening we hiked up to the G. It was a good time, we were on a time crunch trying to get up before the sunset but we did make it. This was a great hike, kind of steep at the begining but a very reasonable distance for the little ones. Notice the picture of Jonathan and the kids on the trail, Jonathan's ring got caught on moses's collar and he almost got pulled over the edge.

The other day Annie and I were bored while Morgan was at school and Will was taking a nap. So we dressed Annie up and started experimenting with the new camera. Annie loved doing this, sucked it right up, she is a good model, maybe a little to good.

Every year I get excited for Halloween and every year I say I'm gonna dress up but usually I'm so burned out on putting the kids costumes together that I usually decided to forget it. Well this year I broke down and bought the girls their costumes and borrowed Will's, so I was all about doing a costume this year. We had are church Halloween party this weekend so about 24 hours before the party I started putting together our costumes, with a little help from my mom. The best part of our costumes is that it cost me nothing, except that I tore apart some old clothes that we never wear anymore. Happy Halloween

Bowling

For Annika's birthday we took the kids to dinner at the Pizza Factory and then went Bowling. The kids had so much fun bowling and they were pretty amazing, Morgan tied Jonathan at a 120, Annika got a 116, I can't seem to remember what I got and Will was right behind me. Annika had a great birthday, I think she had a smile on her face the entire day.

Goblin Valley

This is Gobblin Valley, if you have not been here you must put it on your things to do list. We went camping with our friends the Andersons two weekends ago and went to some Sand Dunes out by Moab and borrowed some four wheelers and had a blast. We then went to Gobblin Valley and spent the day. This place is so amazing to me, it's not like anything you've ever seen before and the kids had so much fun playing on the gobblins. It was hard to keep track of all the little kiddos though.

Annie turned 5 today!!! She is so excited to be 5. Annie is so much fun to be around and brings so much spice to our family. She loves to talk, sing, dance and just be girly. Annika is a great sister, big and little. She is always taking care of her little brother and they have become great friends. Annika is also considerate of Morgan's feelings and goes out of her way to make sure she is happy, sometimes. We love her so much and hope she always keeps her spunk.

Lake Powell 2009

This year we got to go to Lake Powell with Jonathan's family. Jonathan's brother Rich worked there this summer doing House Boat rentals, so we got to rent one on the off season for basically nothing. Lake Powell is now one of my most favorite places, I could not get over how amazing that place is. The entire trip was perfect and so much fun, however Paul and Crew were missed. Thanks so much Rich for the hook up.

Lake Powell was filled with swimming, boating, fishing, slides, playing in the sand and so much more. This trip was so much fun! Lake Powell is one of the most awesome places I've ever been. The company was so much fun, gotta love the Tadje's.

Morgan and Angie tried water skiing for the first time behind a wave runner. Morgan was so close to getting up her first try but she didn't lean back enough and went face first in the water and then was dragged for a few seconds because we forgot to tell her to let go (see bottom right picture). Angie did so awesome, she was up her first try and stayed up for a couple of minutes on her second try. Way to go girls!

We did a lot of boating. I loved going on boat rides that place is so amazing and so beautiful. Rich collected all those tubes over the summer, I guess people would just leave them on the boats and house boats when they were done with them.

Still no camera, but thought I'd do some catch up for you. Morgan started 1st grade and is loving it, she also lost her two bottom teeth. Annika is in a joy school that I'm doing with some ladies in the ward, today was her first day and she was very excited. Annika learned to ride a two wheeler, I feel bad cause I didn't think she had it in her but she showed me, she had it down after a day of practicing. So that's kind of what's up with us. I sure hope we get a camera soon were missing out on all these special moments.

It's been awhile since I've posted not because I am to busy but have had a lack of interest. Anyways this is some of what we've been up to. I just love summer there are so many fun things to do. My kids wake up in the morning and ask me what fun thing are we going to do today, WOW! So my camera just broke pretty sure it's toast so I may not be posting much for a long while.

My sister was in town for the fourth so we went up to my other sister's who lives in Stansberry and had a barbecue and then did some fireworks and watched them. Everyone had so much fun, my kids just love being with their cousins. Thanks Shay for having us over.

Where daddy works

So my kids think their dad has the coolest job, even though he really has nothing to do with any of this fun stuff. We did however get hooked up because he does work there. Mickel came into town so we took all the kids up to Snowbird and spent the day. The kids had a blast and the grown ups had some fun themselves.

Forest Lake

Every summer we drive up to Forest Lake, it has become quite the tradition. This year was the first year with the cruiser and the two lexus'(wanna be cruisers) and Dan showed up in his piece of something. It was a good time, had fun in the giant puddle, wasn't ever able to drive out of the puddle but driving into it from both directions was fun, felt like the rattle snake rapids at Lagoon. Jonny also decided to drive into the Lake and got the whatever wet and the car died, had to get pulled out. Thank goodness for the winch, I guess.

tHIS LAST WEEKEND WE WENT TO mOAB, i love GOING TO mOAB, i LOOK FORWARD TO IT EVERY sPRING. tHE MAJORITY OF jONATHAN'S FAMILY CAME AND THEY ARE ALL SO MUCH FUN. tHE BOYS (wILL AND cRUE) WERE FILTHY THE ENTIRE TIME, wILL CONSTANTLY WAS ASKING TO GO ON RIDES ON THE FOUR WHEELERS AND dAN'S DIRT BIKE, IT WAS VERY CUTE. tHE GIRLS HAD A BLAST AND LOVED BEING WITH THEIR COUSINS. mOSES IS GREAT TO HAVE AROUND FOR CAMPING HE'S SUCH A FUNNY DOG, NOTICE HOW HE MADE HIMSELF NICE AND COMFORTABLE ON rYAN'S LAP AND mOSES LOVES THE WATER. i CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK! aNYBODY WANT TO GO?

Will's birthday was all the way back on April 3rd but I thought I should still Blog about this guys special day. We kept it really simple. We went to Chucky Cheese and just invited grandparents. I do not like Chucky Cheese but I put that a side for my children and we went and the kids had so much fun. I can't believe my little guy is 2! He is so much fun and he makes us all laugh everyday. He is definitely in those terrible two's but he is also so darn cute and that makes up for it. Anyways I could go on and on about this kid but I won't.

ALASKA

Jonathan finally made it to Alaska! I say that because his first attempt to go about 4 weeks ago didn't work out to well for him. 4 weeks ago he left to fo to Alaska but had a lay over in Minnesota, I know it's completely in the wrong direction but that's what they had, so he arrives in Minnesota around noon and he's flight to Alaska was delayed 2 hours cause it had been struck by lightning, strange I know but apparently it happens a lot. So during the delay the volcano in Alaska erupted so then his flight got canceled and rescheduled for the next evening. The next evening comes along and the volcano erupts again, flight canceled again, flight rescheduled for the following morning, well I bet you can guess what happens, the flight is canceled again, so at this point Jonathan says just send me home. So he gets home in the afternoon and they tell him they could send him on a direct flight that evening to Alaska from SLC. Once again he drives up to the airport to find out it's been canceled. After 3 days of trying to get to Alaska he gives up and reschedules for 3 weeks later. So last weekend he went and had such a great time. He went up to see one of his best friends from high school, Ben Cosper. The Cosper's both work at the Alyeska ski resort, so Jonathan got to do some skiing. He had so much fun hangin' out and seeing how Ben lives it up in Alaska. Jonathan's dream is to live in Alaska. Thanks Cosper's for letting Jonathan come visit, wish I could have come, maybe next time.

A zOO DaY

I'm incredible bored right now so I thougt I would Blog something. We went to the zoo when my sister was in town and I got these cute pics of the kids wearing these cute chines hats. I have such a love hate relationship with the zoo, I love going cause my kids love seeing the animals and they even learn stuff there but I feel so bad for those poor trapped animals, and that's all I'm going to say about that.

My sister and I got our girls American Girl Dolls for Christmas, and when I heard they were coming into town (they live in St. George) I just had to have an American Girl Doll Party. We had lunch and I tried to make it all cute and fun, I made them wear skirts and I served them lunch. I should have planned some activities though. I so love A.G.D's., I always wanted one when I was a kid, it's one of those things where you want your kid to have it cause you didn't.

According to Jonathan the sand just sucked him right in and their was nothing he could do, but luckly that big tree stump stoped him. Quite the audience showed up to watch him get pulled out. The whold thing turned out not to be that big of a deal. Jonathan chopped up the stump, then Paul pulled him out and the dent popped out and their is just a large scratch.
